Jordan CDC signs MoU with the US CDC

Jordan CDC signed a memorandum of understanding with the Centers for Disease Prevention and Control in USA, to enhance joint cooperation and to achieve the Center’s missions in strengthening partnerships and international cooperation to confront health challenges and events.

The MoU was signed during the visit by Jordan CDC delegation, with the aim of reviewing American experiences and expertise in the field of strengthening public health capabilities and plans for dealing with diseases, epidemics and health threats.

The MoU includes the exchange of modern information, epidemiological analyses, training and development in the fields related to disease control and response to epidemics, developing the capabilities of health personnel, enhancing rapid response capabilities, conducting research and evaluating health policies, strengthening epidemiological and laboratory monitoring systems, and developing management and quality assurance systems.
