Provide legal advice in the field of administrative decisions related to employees and government work, both disciplinary and non-disciplinary, such as hiring, promotion, transfer, assignment, secondment, vacations of all kinds, job loss, termination of service, dismissal, referrals to placement, rewards, compensation, missions, courses, and delegation of powers.
Provide legal advice in the legal aspect of administrative decisions not related to personnel matters and government work.
Provide legal advice on Local, regional and International agreements related to the Center's activity.
Prepare or participate in preparing the contracts and agreements related to the Center's work or which the Center concludes with any other party, and provide legal advice on its implementation.
Determine the procedures and duties to be taken in case of any breach of agreements based on consultations from the relevant administrative units.
Prepare and draft the legislative tools for the Center and following up the procedures for issuing and publishing them in coordination with the related authorities, and express opinions on the legislative tools referred to the Center.
Express an opinion on the interpretation of the provisions of laws and regulations that are ambiguous in applying or in the event of differences of opinion on applying them and follow up with the related authorities.
Prepare the legal draft of administrative decisions related to employees and government work and any other decisions related to the work of the Center, and providing advice on its legal aspect in order to avoid the possibility of appealing it in front of the related authorities.
Providing the legal authorities with all the evidence, data, support, reasons and legal justifications related to the lawsuits filed by or against the Center at the specialized courts.
Study and review the Center’s laws, regulations and legislations and propose the necessary amendments in case of any defect or gaps in one of the aspects of these laws and regulations.
Prepare interpretation of the provisions of laws and regulations that are ambiguous in applying or when t any difference of opinion occur regarding their application, and follow up with the Prime Ministry and the Council of Law Interpretation.
Participate in lectures and seminars for the Center's staff to introduce them to their relevant legislations and assist them in their application and in extracting the difficulties they may face in the practical application through allocating the defects, ambiguities and legal gaps in the texts of those legislation upon request from the concerned authorities.
Participate in joint committee negotiations between Jordan and other countries to cover the legal aspect when needed.
Prepare technical reports, and develop working methods using modern techniques.
Evaluate the performance of subordinates, identifying their training needs, and training and developing their skills.
Supervising the preparation of reports on the level of achievement in the unit.
Follow-up and development of systems and quality standards.
